Cheapest Places To Live 2009
Posted by Forest in Saving Money & Finances
Looking for the cheapest places to live can be very important and luckily for us some groups and organizations have done extensive research to help out.
According to Missouri Economic Research and Information Center the cheapest places to live 2009 (in USA) were as follows: Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Georgia and Mississippi.
Obviously there are many other factors to consider and simply stating these 10 places to live as the cheapest is not satisfactory. You have to consider many more things such as job markets, taxes and what you personally need from a place. If you can’t handle heat there is no point moving to Texas, as an example!
Here are Frugal Zeitgeist we have gone a little more in depth on the subject on many artciles. Some of the most popular of these include the article Cheapest Places to Live which also talks a little about some other countries and also Cheapest Places to Live In America which is obviously more specific to USA!
I would also be really interested to hear about your experiences and views on cheap living in USA and around the world. First hand advice is better than any survey and is invaluable!
