dvd releasesI keep track of DVD Releases for new movies in a few places on this blog. Renting DVD’s from places like Redbox and Netflix are excellent alternatives to going out on the weekends and can ultimately save a lot of cash if done right. After all many Redbox titles only cost $1 and Netflix can be gotten for around $10 a month. Even Blockbuster, Family Video and many other stores now have extremely competitive prices on renting DVD Releases and some even stock VHS if you want ultra cheap! In fact I have purchased VHS’s for as little as $0.99 from video store clearouts!

Keeping track of the DVD Releases is pretty easy and as I mentioned earlier we offer many ways to do so on Frugal Zeitgeist. Blockbuster is the most popular place to rent DVDs and now with them having a 28 lead on many New Releases it could be your goto place to get the latest and greatest, check out our Blockbuster New Releases post which is updated weekly to keep you informed about what is available to you.

If you want sheer value and convenience then renting from a DVD Kiosk is likely your idea. Redbox is the most wide spread and reliable of these and as mentioned above many rentals are available for as low as $1 per night. Here are the Redbox New Releases updated weekly. I love Redbox for it’s sheer ease and brilliance!
