Foods That Boost Your Libido – There is a lot of discussion about what foods boost libido and improve peoples sex life. of course much of it could be passed off as placebo effect but of course there is likely some truths to the idea that certain foods can help.

The easiest way to go fool proof in choosing libido boosting foods is to just pick general healthy foods. Being high on energy and in good health will make your sex life easier and more enjoyable. So plenty of fruit, veg and whole grains. Of course it’s best to stay away from foods that cause flatulence, bad breath and bloating!

There are specific chemicals that are thought to be very helpful and of course this means certain foods that are high in these substances.

Zinc is touted as a major factor in producing testosterone and can be helpful for both men and women. Oysters, a long touted aphrodisiac, are high on the list as is dark chocolate, pumpkin, squash and watermelon seeds and sesame seeds.

Bromelain is thought (not proven) to help with impotence but boost general libido and is found in bananas which luckily also contain a bunch of other health boosting things such as potassium, folic acid, riboflavins and of course they are high energy.

Folic acid and potassium are thought to be great for female libido too and can be found in high levels in avocados.

You can’t neglect vitamins either. Vitamin E is thought to stimulate hormones associated with sex and is abundant in Asparagus, many nuts and seeds, corn and soya. Vitamin B helps with stress and mood and can be found in eggs, milk and lean meats.

As I mentioned at the start of the post I think the most important thing is to eat balanced and healthy. If you feel great you will have more confidence and generally perform better. Feeling good can help sex and sex can help feeling good so work on feeding the circle!
