Have You Had Luck Getting Rid Of Ants?

getting rid of ants It’s heating up quite a lot now here in Cairo… As it is through most of USA and even a little across UK and Europe, that means summer is here and so are the dreaded ants!

I wrote a post a while back about Getting Rid Of Ants and the method I use. So far this has been very successful for me but they do come back, so I have to do it again….. Here in Cairo though I feel that may be inevitable.

Do you have any alternative ways of getting rid of ants?

I always want to learn so I want to know what techniques you use to get rid of the critters and if you have any special ways of keeping them away for good. I actually do love ants, just not in my fig newtns or my peanut butter!

Before killing them, watch them for a while….

I think it’s important to respect all life so before I sadly kill these insects I often watch them for a whiles. Ants are purely fascinating bugs. Their social structures and the organization that goes into what they do is amazing! I pulled a rock up the other day and there was hundreds of ant eggs… Within 2 minutes the ants had taken every egg down the hole for safe keeping from me, the potential predator! Amazing, this is why i hate getting rid of ants . I wish they had a have-a-heart trap for insects!
