Help The Environment When You Search With Growyn

This isn’t a post about directly saving you some cash but along with being Frugal I think it’s our moral duty to care about the environment and saving in all areas.

Helping the environment is an important thing to me personally and I recently heard about a way to donate cash to environmental causes every time you search.

So I present Growyn:

Growyn is pretty new but if more of us use it then I really think it’s going to get better and better.

It currently gives options to search the web (similar to Google) or search YouTube. Every search donates cash to to environmental causes and you can easily set it as your default search.

One thing I really like about it is the main search page. You get to choose from a few backgrounds of natural or environmental images.

I have gone with this fantastic lakeside view:

They use Yahoo’s search for their main search which I believe will be merging with Bing soon and I have found to be pretty good, it has no advertisements although I think it would be good if it showed some environmental facts or linked us to important causes related to some of our searches. All in all it’s east and no fus..

So consider using Growyn from today for your daily search and help it improve and grow.
