Insanity Week 3 Fit Test Results – Dejavu But Better!
Posted on by Forest in Exercise, Health, Insanity, Saving Money & Finances
Regular readers will know that I have been going on about doing the Insanity Home Workout Program for a while now. Just before I went away a few weeks ago, I had reached Week 3 of the program but then I went away and ate and drank away most of the results!
So I started again and already I am on Week 3 again…. but this time with even better results than the first time around… hence the “dejavu but better” comment in the title of this post.
I am really enjoying Insanity and will likely create some kind of Insanity / p90x cross bread monster to embark on after this is finished.
I I started Insanity because Gym’s are expensive around here and I had already completed p90x with very good results. BeachBody is a cheesy American AD AD AD, IN YOUR FACE company but ignore all that BS and they really have some top quality fitness programs going on. Insanity can be found for a good price on Amazon: Insanity on Amazon <– Affiliate Link
Ok, onto my Insanity Week 3 Fit Test Results.

I am very happy with these improvements. I am still struggling with Suicide Jumps and Level I, II, III drills but will work hard on these in the coming weeks.
I would love to know if you are doing or have done this workout or any like it. Any tips, questions or anything please do leave a message.

Thank you for noting how annoying Beach Body is, but I can’t hate on them too much. They did a lot to help out with a nonprofit I used to work with. But MAN, this stuff looks so hard! I don’t think I could even do the suicide jumps. Gooooooo Forest!

Ha ha, I am English too so the over-Americanism gets to me even more
(my partner is American so I like USA really).
That’s cool they helped the non-profit. I am considering becoming a coach so I can promote the products through the official channels…. Maybe I should start a site “I hate Beach Body but their stuff kind of works pretty good .com”
Thanks for stopping by…. you could do all of it after a little practice.

Is that obnoxiousness really American? Oh god, it is. Forgive us. We are a young nation. A young nation full of jackasses.
In other news, I totally support the notion of you becoming a coach. Although it’s not in my budget now, I have to say that I LOVED working out with a personal trainer. It just makes the experience so much more fun. And from the looks of some of these crazy moves, having a coach would make it all the more fun.
Ok, enough of my 2 cents!

Ha ha, most American’s are just fine…. but the few ruin it for the masses
.
The coach thing wouldn’t entail me becoming an actual fitness coach, a Beachbody coach is basically the name they give to people signed up to their affiliate / network marketing campaign but it incurs a monthly fee…. so that’s why I am dubious of trying it…. got to keep the budget tight.
Keep giving your two cents whenever you want…. all those pennies add up!

Whoa! Nice new site design. Haven’t been here in a while.
Good job with the program, keep up the intensity.
More later – attempting to “make the rounds”

I have always wondered about that program and the p90x Program. I have started doing the C25k which stands for Couch to 5K! More of a running program instead of total body workout

@ FinEngr, thanks for the compliment, I just started work on the site today.
P90x and Insanity are really really good programs. I am looking forward to phase 3 when I mix the two.
@Evan, As I said above they are great programs. Couch to 5k sounds awesome. I love running but it’s not easy in Cairo because the air is bad and the roads are dangerous (and there is a big lack of traffic)…. I was running 6-8miles 3-4 times a week before I got to Cairo so trying hard to hold onto some of my cardio fitness for when I get back to a runnable city.

I’m glad you are getting good results! I did p90x a few times and tried the first Insanity workout and I had to get better shoes lol! It is really hard.

P90X was great too and I expect the next step for me is an Insanity P90X Hybrid.
