Living in a Frugal Way – We Need You

your country needs you I am hoping to start a series here on this blog that looks at how you are living in a frugal way. Kind of like an interview series with anyone who feels they have a frugal life or at least frugal elements in their life.

YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU TO SHOW THEM HOW YOU ARE LIVING IN A FRUGAL WAY!!

To start this I’m going to have a very quick look at my own personal attempts at living in a frugal way. Hopefully this will give you some ideas about what you will like to talk about with me.

I try to spend very little on an average day, sometimes though, this does not work!

Favorite breakfast dishes include a homemade yogurt and fresh berry smoothie or egg and spinach in a homemade bread wrap.
At lunch I often have a spinach and cheese sandwich with dijon mustard and black russian bread.
Dinner can be widely varied but often includes stir fry / cous cous or rice. Past and pasta sauce or occasionally some trout and steamed vegetables.
I will be publishing some more of my personal messages over the next few weeks.

If I have to go downtown I walk and spending times working in coffee shops I normally get a large coffee to last me for most of the time I am there. I love milky coffee so when the original coffee is nearly finished I normally head back over to the milk station and refill my cup. This is a bit cheeky but allows me to have a 2 for 1 kind of deal .

One of the hardest things for me is resisting being dragged into anything baking fresh bread or making great food…. I love the great food places splattered around Montreal.

I do much more to be frugal in my life but just wanted to give you a rough overview…. I look forward to speaking with you.

My and my wife just stripped everything we own down to a 10 foot moving van. We are now going to travel for at least a year. If you want to know how we live frugle just sent me an email and we can chat.

I would be interested in participating in this is you’re still looking for people. I’m not frugal 100% of the time but I feel we do pretty well with what we have. I write frugal posts on my blog most Fridays.
