Million Dollar Finds - Every now and then, somewhere, someone finds an item that isn’t worth a lot, it’s worth a hell of a lot! These items are way beyond your standard antique road show fair and I sure would like to come across some myself!

9-Year Old Alexander Granhof Finds Medieval Treasure

Searching with his father on the site of the 1676 Battle of Lund for cannonballs a 9 year old came across quite the find! The medieval treasure they found is worth $265,000 (ok, not quite a million but a lot!).

Rick Norsigian paid $45 for some glass negatives from a garage sale in Fresno, California in 2000. Well guess what? The negatives worth is $200 million, well estimated. They are long lost works of Ansel Adams.

Three-Year-Old Boy Finds $4M Pendant England James Hyatt

Talk about some serious luck at uncovering something worth millions. Working a metal detector with his father and uncovered something worth great value. The child was James Hyatt, a three year old found a $4M image engraved pendant of Virgin Mary. The $4M medieval Pendant found in England  was obviously is very valuable, but the religious community has a very high appreciation for it so they have the item now.

Treasure Hunter Finds 52,000 Roman Coins Worth $5 Million (David Crisp)

This treasure hunter found a coin with the face of Marcus Aurelius Carausius on it near his home in the United Kingdom. It was quite a special day for him. David Crisp roman coins are worth $5 million. They are some of the most expensive coins in the world. They are now in the British Museum.

Michelangelo Painting Behind Sofa

A family in Buffalo, New York were living on a goldmine. In fact it was behind their sofa! A Michelangelo painting worth $300 million was being stored behind there.

Rare Bugatti Found

A Bugatti covered in dust was found in a barn covered in dust. The Bugatti was a rare 1937 model and is actually one of the worlds rarest cars of which only 17 were built! The Bugatti found car sold for 4.53 million!

    Incredible stories. Sounds like maybe a metal detector would be a good investment. You might find something valuable and if not, at least you get some exercise walking around outdoors.
