The Nicolas Cage million dollar comic book story really got us to thinking about this. Someone stole his comic book from him over 11 years ago, but he was able to find and retrieve it.

9-Year Old Alexander Granhof Finds Medieval Treasure

Searching with his father on the site of the 1676 Battle of Lund for cannonballs a 9 year old came across quite the find! The medieval treasure they found is worth $265,000 (ok, not quite a million but a lot!).

This treasure hunter found a coin with the face of Marcus Aurelius Carausius on it near his home in the United Kingdom. It was quite a special day for him. David Crisp roman coins are worth $5 million. They are some of the most expensive coins in the world. They are now in the British Museum.

A family in Buffalo, New York were living on a goldmine. In fact it was behind their sofa! A Michelangelo painting worth $300 million was being stored behind there.
