Secrets of Successful Relationship – A good lasting relationship doesn’t come easy and to make it succesful you will have to do some work, in most cases. That work isn’t going to be hard or a tough decision if you really do love the person. Let’s take a look at some of my thoughts and tips on this subject.

Secrets of Successful Relationship

Ok, i’m not going to list a check list here or give you some kind of daily plan to follow, relationships are not all cookie cutter so of course each and every one will have it’s own quirks, issues and benefits. There is no exact formula to finding Mrs or Mr Right The important thing is that you love each other and both are willing to work together to make it last long a long time.

In relationship club the first secret is there is no secrets!

Yeah, yeah I know that is a cheesy line but it is true. Trust is a central pillar to any kind of relationship and in a romantic situation there just can’t be any secrets. When numbers get missing out of an equation it doesn’t work so you have to make sure all the numbers are on the page…. What I am saying is tell your partner everything and expect the same from them. If they tell you something you don’t like, like they dated someone you know a few months before you got together as an example, then be thankful they feel comfortable telling you. Your lives need to be shared to create a solid lasting bond.

We get by with a little help from our friends

You have to be best friends. A relationship built on lust, money or anything like that isn’t going to be fruitful long term. Sure a relationship can start off on pure animal attraction but sometimes there was more to that initial attraction and you just read something right in the person. Friends are what a guy or girl needs in this world to get along and if one of the best happens to be with you every day how can it go wrong?

If you can’t bend over backwards and touch your toes, you are gonna have to learn!

Relationships need people to be flexible with each other. Compromise and bending yourself to fit their needs should also work the opposite way too. You guys need to be a team and working together in a fluid way is the best option for a happy medium that works. It’s like doing the tango or something, you have to be in sync!

Secrets of Successful Relationship…

I really don’t think there is much more than that. Success is built on care and trust and compromise when it comes to love. Understanding and knowing another person completely is one of the most rewarding things a person can have in live. It is a privilege for another human to let you into their world like that!

I’d love to hear your tips, thoughts and whatever else you have to share.

    Ola! Frugalzeitgeist,
Interesting Post, I’m sure you’ve heard the expression that “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar”. In case you haven’t heard it, it means that you get much further with compliments than with put-downs and criticism. This is especially true in relationships. I’ve read that psychologists say that it takes as many as ten positive comments to offset one negative comment, but I don’t know whether or not that’s true. The power of one positive comment can be pretty amazing.
    Great Job!

I think in a successful relationship both parties have to feel that they were lucky to be with the other person. That’s what will get you through the small annoyances and daily drudgery. The moment you start thinking you “can do better,” it’s over.
