September is Food Month!

September is Food Month!

I have been cooking some recipes recently and browsers threw loads on the web just looking for new foods and ideas within my low budget.

The good news is that most home cooking is actually pretty cheap and is often more satisfying than going out to eat.

I also have not posted a recipe on this blog for almost a month so have decided that throughout September I will go food crazy here on Frugal Zeitgeist.

Expect at least one food post a day, if I can keep that kind of schedule up!

I’m vegeatrian… well vegequarian actually! So expect my personal recipes to be meat free for the most part. I will however write up some good meat recipes that I know and indicate where meat works well. I used to be a ravenous meat eater! I’ll also be posting links to other interesting recipes from around here there and everywhere.

Any suggestions will as always be appreciated.

Thanks,

Forest.

Thanks for sharing your blog. I just want to know the photo you’ve posted, what kind of food it is. It looks delicious to dig in.

@Bead Maker, that photo came from Wikimedia so not my recipe…. But it’s a dumpling called Takoyaki, more info can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takoyaki
