Why I Love Working Out At Home…

You could list 100′s and 100′s of reasons to do exercise and there are a near endless ways to do it. I personally do my working out at home for a variety of reasons and I wanted to highlight some of the things that make me love getting my exercise this way.
Firstly I get to save money on the sometimes very costly gym memberships. Don’t get me wrong, I love the gym too, but I also like to save money and right now this is one sensible way to do it.
I can look as stupid as I like at home and work as hard as I want without worrying about everybody looking at me strangely. Some of the hopping, jumping, stretching and the faces of exertion just are not pretty… even if I was a George Clooney look-a-like it just wouldn’t look right! At home I can look as un-right as I like.
No travel time. Well there is some…. from the bedroom to the living room. This also saves cash on transport and time, which as we all know is as precious as anything.
I get to try all those crazy home workouts. I completed P90X happily and am now going through Insanity…. I’lll move up to Sweatin With The Oldies next, I hear that is intense! Seriously though you can try anything you want, make your own routines.
It becomes part of your day. Now I wake up and the first thing I think about is working out, no problems with getting myself out of the house, I just get my teeth washed, drink some water and get going.
