		<description>Being married to a pro in construction, it isn&#039;t uncommon for me to have tables, shelves, or desks built instead of purchased.  However, one thing that he considers to be a real pain to construct is anything with drawers.

If you are looking for good ways to build some of your furniture yourself, and purchase some, I recommend you look into the simplest pieces for DIY construction.  You can build desks, shelves, dining tables, nightstands, etc., pretty simply.  But when it comes to a dresser or an office pedestal, I recommend Ikea!
