However, one thing that he considers to be a real pain to construct is anything with drawers.If you are looking for good ways to build some of your furniture yourself, and purchase some, I recommend you look into the simplest pieces for DIY construction.  You can build desks, shelves, dining tables, nightstands, etc., pretty simply.
